Picked up an 1886-O Morgan at an estate sale. There's a clear die crack running from the ear through the hairline. Photos attached — could this be one of the catalogued VAMs? Worth sending to PCGS?

From the TNH grading desk: die cracks through the ear on 1886-O are consistent with several catalogued VAMs. If the crack is bold and the coin is AU or better, attribution is worth the fee. Feel free to bring it to our verification service.

Even if it isn't a top-50 VAM, die crack Morgans are getting real collector attention lately. Nice find.
