How do you store high-value notes in humid climates?

Tokyo summers are brutal on paper. I keep my Meiji notes in mylar sleeves inside a dry cabinet at 45% RH, but I'm curious what others in humid regions do. Silica gel? Climate-controlled safes?

Mumbai dealer here: dry cabinet is the right call. I add indicating silica gel and rotate it monthly. Avoid PVC pages at all costs — the plasticizer damage is worse than humidity.

Seconding the anti-PVC advice. In Hamburg I use archival polyester (Melinex) sleeves plus a sealed box with a hygrometer. Cheap and effective.

This thread convinced me to finally buy a hygrometer, thanks all.
